One short food whore, one long adventure

All the Laughs … a Night Out at Goliath Comedy Club

We recently had the pleasure of attending comedy and dinner at The Goliath Comedy Club (and Roast Cafe) for date night. This is a perfect night out on the town, being in the ever trendy, always popular Melrose Arch, whether it’s date night or a night out with a group of friends. In fact, I think a night out with a group of friends is actually an even better idea, seeing as the comedians always find someone in the audience to have a go at. It sure is funny when it’s not you! Imagine being out with your crew and someone in your group gets ragged …  torture material for weeks!

I have yet to really get to try the new Roast Cafe summer menu but I had a delicious burger there from the shorter comedy club menu. I definitely need to go back though, so I can try some stuff from the full menu. And even Chris Forrest tweeted at us that we absolutely have to try the chocolate milkshake.

I was surprised at the full line-up of comedians. Along with the MC, Glen Biderman-Pam, we had 5 or 6 comedians on stage, including the always brilliant Stuart Taylor. A lovely #JFWRecommends night on the town.
